Thank you for assisting me in sharing a love of learning with the bright, polite, enthusiastic young people I am privileged to teach. We are cultivating a love of reading one book at a time! It is a huge motivator for students to know that others believe that what we're doing in our classroom is important, worthwhile work. When students know that our work does not exist within an enclosed bubble, they are more likely to recognize the inherent value in learning. When students see that others are willing to support education by donating to our classroom, it reinforces that what we're doing is important. No amount of even the most inspired classroom teaching can substitute for the knowledge that "real" people believe in our students. Thank you not just for your financial support, but for your moral support of classrooms around the country.
