My students are excited and very curious 5th graders. They know that honesty is the best policy and they are caring and honest to each other. They come to school knowing that the six pillars of our school are things to live by both in school and in the community. They are risk takers who enjoy collaboration to discover new things. My students are always so eager to learn and try new things. In our class, we always say that it is okay to make mistakes, because that is how we learn and grow. Also, My students enjoy learning through fun activities that promote multi-sensory learning. Their engagement with each other help bond with one another so that they feel safe and comfortable in the class. Our school is big on promoting a positive learning environment for everyone. We believe that our students can be positive leaders who can make a difference in our community.
