After 20 years of teaching, mostly in kindergarten, I’m excited to embark on a new journey as the special education teacher in a blended PreK classroom. The classroom is a dynamic, welcoming space designed to accommodate a diverse group of 17 students, each with their own strengths and abilities. We have a rich blend of learners, some with developmental delays and others who thrive in a more structured environment. Despite their differences, the one thing they all share is an eagerness to learn and grow. My goal is to create a nurturing and inclusive environment where every child can reach their fullest potential, building skills, confidence, and a love for learning in the process.
