This October I will be attending the Get Your Teach on Conference in Connecticut to further my learning as a 2nd-grade teacher. While I have gathered many useful techniques in my first few years of teaching my students are ever-changing and deserve fresh, new and engaging activities to practice fundamental concepts that need to be mastered. I am excited to have the opportunity to bring new "outside the box" thinking and ideas back to my classroom this year from this highly attended conference. These donations will help provide me with lodging and meals so I can attend the Get Your Teach On event this fall. The Get Your Teach On conference will help to improve my teaching style and active engagement strategies with my students to better reach them and help them master the rigorous content we cover in 2nd grade. I can't wait to be able to apply what I have learned back in my classroom as soon as I get back. Thank you so much for the consideration of donating to my project!
