I am currently teaching TK in the Buena Park School District. I had to transfer schools in the same district but unfortunately, I had to leave behind most of my student manipulatives. I have a class of 24 kids and 3 students who push in for a good amount of the day. The staff is very positive and supportive through my transition to another school. Many teachers have given me hand me down materials to get my room started but everything is old and worn out. I don't have the materials I need to teach my kids to their fullest potential. My school is getting remodeled over the summer with furniture and magnetic everything! One of the rooms being added to our school site is a STEAM room. TK needs hands on activities in order to learn and grow through play. I would like to have a pretend play kitchen, playhouse, and a ramp & balls set to encourage my students to have fun with learning!
