Bluetooth headphones will help my kindergarteners be successful in their learning in the classroom during this pandemic. Since our school is doing both remote and face to face learning. During our zooms there are 12 kids in the classroom and 12 at home. Without headphones for their devices in the classroom the echo on our zoom due to all the devices in the room is extremely loud. I have purchased headphones for my students and they do not last since they are plugged in every morning and unplugged every afternoon. The wires to the headphones can not survive kindergarten hands. Without headphones in the classroom students cannot work independently on their assignments at their own pace since the sound of their classmate next to them, or their teacher working in small group on zoom can be extremely distracting. My students at home need these headphones at home as well. As I can only begin to imagine the distractions of other siblings on zoom or younger siblings at home.
