Having the light table in our room has definitely made our learning centers a lot more fun and engaging. We have been able to use it for math with numbers, counting, sorting, patterns as well as with literacy for letters, sounds, etc. The different manipulatives we received allows me to change up the center so my students don't get bored of doing the same activity. The filler beads allows our light table to give a sensory experience for the students. They love playing with the sensory beads by running their hands through it. Students are able to use the calming corner when they feel sad or upset. I introduced each item and showed students how we use them and what they are used for. Students know this is not a play area but to help regulate their emotions. \r\nSo far we've had a handful of students use the calming corner and it has really helped.
