Please help me put a smile on my students' faces with some fun learning activities during our distance learning due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Students are not able to leave their homes due to the quarantine in New York. My second graders would benefit from some math games, art supplies, and hands-on learning materials. My students need some distraction and hands-on activities in order to stay focused and entertain during the summer months. Every year, I send my students off with a good luck gift that they can use and enjoy during their summer break. Unfortunately, this year that won't be possible due to the pandemic. Camps, pools, and parks will be closed in New York, which will make their summer extremely difficult. I would like to send every student a care package filled with jump ropes, crayons, coloring books, and a hands-on science Dino Egg Fossil kit. These small items will definitely put smiles on my second graders' faces.
