In celebration of our 8th grade students graduating, the teachers put together an 8th grade package. In this package, students attend multiple field trips around the Chicago area and surrounding cities as a class. Students engage in academic trips, like college tours, and fun trips, like a White Sox game, in order to gain more experiences outside of the neighborhoods they live and enjoy time with classmates before graduation. This project is to fund the bus that will take our students to their 8th grade luncheon. This luncheon includes a buffet meal and a dance in a banquet room in downtown Chicago. Students get to enjoy a meal in a fine dining room and then dance with their friends in celebration of graduating from the 8th grade.
