I teach 3rd grade at Jean Parker Elementary in Chinatown in San Francisco, California. The students in my class primarily live in the Chinatown neighborhood and are mostly English language learners. We are a Title 1 school, serving over 85% of our students who are socioeconomically disadvantaged. In my classroom, students have varying abilities and are able to learn in multiple ways. They are amazing individuals always looking for more opportunities to learn.
