I have an ever-expanding, but current class of 22 kindergarteners in a very family-friendly school in CA. These kids come from a wide variety of family homes. Many of them are still learning English. A huge percentage qualify for Free Lunches. I am new to kindergarten at our school and am tasked with the huge goal of teaching these children letters, numbers, and even how to write their names! These are bright, curious, ambitious, yet typical 5 and 6 year olds. :-) They truly want to succeed!
