This project will help create a positive learning environment for severe and profoundly disabled students by introducing learning materials, literature, sensory stimulus, and social skill opportunity through free play, guided reading, crafting projects, and social exploration. These supplies, including books and tactile pillows, will truly set a positive foundation for these learners first experience in a public school setting by providing materials to a brand new classroom. They will be used daily to support exceptional education students in their pursuit of growth and development by teacher lead activities and play based learning. It is my hope that these materials will provide every opportunity for these young leaners to succeed and meet their individual goals.
