Room 853 at San Diego High sees all kinds of action. With 9th and 10th graders coming through the doors, we seek to expand our minds, be conscientious global citizens, and spread positivity in our learning, actions, and growth. Academic courses include 9th and 10th grade ELA and AVID. Room 853 is also the home to our school's Feminist Leadership in Youth, Gender and Sexuality Alliance, Yoga, and Freshmen Class clubs. I expect my students to be kind, safe, savvy, and smart, and they rise to the occasion.
