My students will have a brand new bilingual reading center that will be warm and inviting. I do not currently have a classroom library and want to encourage my students to read and having a comfortable area for reading is a start. The classroom carpet and flexible seating will allow us all to gather as a class during read-alouds, morning meetings, and calendar time which will help create a sense of community for each of my students. My goal is to provide a safe space for students to use their voice and explore new books.
