This is my first year teaching 2nd grade. Having moved schools within the district 3 times in the past 5 years has meant starting over every time. Not all schools have the same set up or supplies. Our school is a small neighborhood school that has yet to be updated like some other schools in the district. Much of the furniture is falling apart. Much of it is the same as when I attended the school in the 90s, and it wasn't new then! Even though our needs have evolved, our supplies have not and it's not always guaranteed that requests for needed furniture will be answered. Help us get this new school year off to a great start.
