For many students, school is the only place where they have access to high-quality learning experiences through the use of technology. We thankfully have 6 classroom computers and a weekly computer lab time, but there are times throughout the day when students would benefit from being engaged on personal portable devices working on lessons and activities that fit their personal learning path. The apps available on the Kindle will give my students independent access to a variety of learning tools over many subject areas and will contribute to their academic growth. I am very much looking forward to being able to offer my students more opportunities to learn through the use of technology. They will certainly be excited to use the Kindles which will add additional motivation and excitement to learn!
