My classroom is fortunate to have a class set of 40 Chromebooks, which is fantastic! And as my class is set up in teams of four (I’m big on collaborating), having a “charging station” for each team will allow us to save precious time every day. Every minute counts when you only have 50 minutes a day! Our current set-up wastes precious learning time because my students must retrieve their assigned laptop at the beginning of class, which usually takes 3-4 minutes on a “fast” day, and then put away, which includes ensuring that each and every laptop is plugged in, and this can take upwards of 7-10 minutes. That’s at least 10 minutes a day wasted - time that should, and could, be used for instruction. These surge protected charging stations will save time and allow us to make valuable use of every minute of class!
