I am grateful to have a space to publicly brag about my campus role at the moment, because I feel I have the most purposeful and enjoyable job on the planet. I am a Work Based Learning educator, where I engage and connect students to opportunities and businesses that provide learning experiences for their future endeavors. Our entire special education department works tirelessly to intentionally get to know our individual students, so we know how to best support them and connect them. With hundreds of students receiving special education services, we get to educate high schoolers with so many unique abilities and interests! School is the one public place in the community that they feel valued for who they are as individuals, for their gifts and for what they can bring to the table.
