Let’s be honest! Just shamelessly honest...it’s very difficult not to look at a classroom and not see what’s lacking, what’s old and falling apart, and what’s simply negative. But I don’t want to focus on that. I want to focus on my students’ excitement, joy, simply put positive feelings about creating art! I would like to build this paradise for student artists. A place where they are taught Art History through Power Point slide shows and movies. A place where they can research artists, ideas, images to use as reference for their own masterpieces. BUT that would require 21st century technology. I’d like to enlist your help in acquiring a Smart TV. I don’t see it as a luxury but a necessity to serve today’s tech savvy students.
