Every Thursday, our garden club gets together after school to work in the gardens around our school. The students weed areas, water the plants, grow seeds and cuttings, observe the insects and plants grow! They have so many questions and wonderings about what they observe. This garden club provides students with the opportunity to learn about their environment and what plants need, and develop skills in gardening. The materials I chose will help the students to be able to do more in the garden. It will help them be more productive in the time they have. Right now they only have gloves and a few broken tools.
