My students are 9th-12 graders who come from all walks of life, and all different ethnic backgrounds! The majority of my students have struggled with math in the past but still, work hard to achieve academic excellence. In the classroom, our most important rule is being kind and respectful to each other. My students have been able to foster a spirit of camaraderie and friendship, where each student has contributed to building a safe learning environment where we can all take risks and support each other while learning. Many of my students are very successful outside of the classroom in sports, band, JROTC, Student Government, Performing Arts, and service and cultural clubs. Our goal as a school is to produce life-long successful learners who will make a difference in chosen careers as well as our community. Our school has a special kind of pride that keeps our alumni coming back, to support the school and students.
