My students are in my room for a quick 45 minutes a day, which means that every minute is precious. In addition, resources are limited and money for basic supplies - such as composition books - is lacking. Both color coded bins and color coded composition books will be used to help us stay organized, efficient, and focused on learning. By eliminating just two minutes a day of looking for supplies, or confusion about systems, we can salvage 10 minutes of learning each week; that's approximately one full class period each month! With the ability to assign each class a color and provide color-coded storage and turn-in bins, we will save time locating supplies and turning in assignments, thereby freeing that time up for learning. In addition, color coding will support diverse learnings by providing a visual reinforcement to remind them what they're supposed to do! Finally, your donation will provide much-needed composition books for students to use in class, which the school is unable to pay for. These composition books will be used as AVID style Interactive Notebooks, which teach academic skills students will need for success. Thank you in advance for helping my students have the supplies they need and the classroom system they deserve!
