My classroom is a diverse, fourth grade classroom of eager learners that have lots of energy and a wide range of learning abilities. About half of my students are mainstreamed special needs students with the rest being regular education and gifted. For many of my students, school is the one constant in their life and they look forward to it. However, with so many diverse learning styles, I feel that our classroom falls short on some necessary equipment to help make the students' learning experiences the very best they can be. Donors Choose has been instrumental in helping me reach my lower level students using hands-on learning and it has also helped me to challenge my upper students with deeper information and opportunities for growth!
