Since my school started an online reading program, my students have been fascinated with online reading. They are reading a variety of genres, including history books, biographies, and other literature, which they might be less likely to read if the books were only in hard copy. Having headphones will allow my students to continue to foster a love of reading. Right now, my students are having to listen to an influx of audio coming from multiple computers as they struggle to hear their own books. Having headphones will allow students a more intimate and beneficial reading experience. They desire and need tremendous exposure to print.
