These Chromebooks will be used by approximately 150 students, daily, for a variety of school activities within the K-6th grade realm. Activities such as embedded mathematics programs (St Math, XtraMath and Think Through Math), research projects, online state testing requirements, and multimedia presentations, are a weekly requirement. As technology becomes more integrated in our modern society, the need for students to communicate and become fluent with technology grows. I am requesting three Chromebooks. The need is to replace a cart set of 8 year old netbooks which are irreparable. Our current netbooks are missing keys, batteries that won’t stay attached, and often struggle with connecting to our wifi system which has been upgraded.

About my class
