Our students are being inspired to communicate as much as they can to develop their social skills and communication skills. It will look different for each child, from scribbling to drawings to chicken scratch actual writing but this is the form of communication that is meaningful for each child. So these notebooks that have the half of the page for drawings and the other half of the page for writing is a perfect fit to give these children options to express themselves! Also for the glue sticks they still need to develop their gross motor skills so they still need the arts and crafts but they are only 5 so they have yet to master the skill of keeping the glue sticks from drying out and the liquid glue we never get too many.
