While our first graders are bursting with enthusiasm and joy, our school deals with the realities of a city facing severe teacher shortage--limited resources, and systemic inequities. Working in this environment requires me to get creative in how I am going to help my students meet their immeasurable potential, and DonorsChoose is key to doing this.
