Our first grade students are an enthusiastic bunch! They are eager to learn and explore through their senses and via technology. They bore easily with worksheets that ask them to regurgitate knowledge. What they crave are authentic and meaningful learning experiences where they can touch and manipulate objects relevant to their topics of study. Our students attend a school with passionate and dedicated teachers. We teach each day with our hearts and our students respond with their maximum effort. Our first grade students are '21st Century Learners'. This means they need 21st century skills - the ability to communicate, collaborate, create and think critically.
