Because of your kindness, our PE class now has BlazePods, and they have already made an incredible impact on our students. Your donation has truly brought excitement, innovation, and new learning opportunities into our gym, and we are deeply grateful.\r\n\r\nBlazePods are more than just a piece of equipment—they are a powerful tool that helps our students develop essential physical and cognitive skills in a fun and engaging way. Since introducing them into our classes, I have seen students become more motivated, focused, and eager to participate. The bright lights, quick reactions, and interactive challenges instantly capture their attention and keep them moving with purpose. Even students who are sometimes hesitant to participate in PE have been excited to join in and challenge themselves.\r\n\r\nThese BlazePods are allowing us to work on important skills such as reaction time, agility, coordination, balance, and teamwork. Students are learning how to move quickly and safely, make decisions under pressure, and encourage one another during activities. We are also able to differentiate instruction more effectively—students of all ability levels can be successful, set personal goals, and experience growth. Whether they are working independently, with a partner, or as part of a team, every student feels included and challenged in a positive way.\r\n\r\nBeyond physical skills, the BlazePods are helping reinforce social-emotional learning. Students practice perseverance when tasks are challenging, celebrate success when they improve, and learn how to handle both winning and losing with respect. I have seen so many smiles, high-fives, and moments of pride as students realize what they are capable of achieving. These experiences help build confidence that extends far beyond the gym.\r\n\r\nYour generosity has also helped modernize our PE program and align it with 21st-century learning. By incorporating technology in a meaningful and active way, we are showing students that movement, learning, and innovation go hand in hand. The BlazePods will be used for years to come and will continue to benefit hundreds of students as they grow, learn, and develop healthy habits.\r\n\r\nThank you for believing in our students and investing in their physical, social, and emotional well-being. Your support has made a lasting difference in our school community, and we are incredibly thankful for your commitment to education. From all of our students and staff, thank you for helping us light up our PE class.\r\n\r\nWith sincere gratitude,","fullyFundedDate":1761513229681,"projectUrl":"project/skill-related-physical-fitness-in-pe/9828843/","projectTitle":"Skill Related Physical Fitness in PE","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Colossale","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp5827415_orig.jpg?crop=200,200,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1760451517481","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/5827415"},{"teacherId":2020248,"projectId":9284284,"letterContent":"Thank you for choosing to donate to our \"Press Play SO We Can Listen and Read Books Today\" project. The new listening station materials allowed me to replace some of our older stations where the books were falling apart and unfortunately are now out of print. \r\n Having a listening station in my classroom opens up the world of inclusivity as all students in my classroom regardless of their reading abilities are able to listen to the stories and respond to the text. Listening station and these materials have introduced my students to some classic authors and characters such as Eric Carle, and Margaret & H.A. Rey's famous Curious George. The students were overwhelmed with joy every time a new package arrived with a few more of the books from the project. The loved watching me unbox the packages so they could see which titles we were adding to our classroom library. The addition of the new Step into Reading and early reader books to our classroom library have become some of the most popular books my students have chosen to read. Weekly the students choose books for their reading box and their take home reading bag. \r\n The addition of these new books has allowed for my students to choose books that are of interest to them. For many of my students this was their first exposure to characters such as Amelia Bedelia, and Fancy Nancy. I also loved being able to watch them explore some of the nonfiction Ranger Rick titles. The most heartwarming piece as a teacher is being able to see your students grow and learn as readers with books at their level. The subscription also exposed many of my students to a new type of reading material as they had not encountered magazines as part of their reading repertoire prior to this, they thought reading was classified mostly to books. The online digital access makes it easier for me to project a larger version of the article up on our Smartboard and provides access to additional handouts that can be used with the articles.
