Our 4th grade classroom is a fun, diverse, and creative place of learning. We care about each other and encourage one another to always give their best. My partner teacher and I team teach a total of 50 students in a large, diverse, Title I school. Students are offered a rigorous math and creative science environment that encourages them to learn not only independently, but through team work as well. Our school has a wonderful repuation where student's interests, academic growth, and character are equally important in their educational journey. We integrate STEM and project-based learning into our curriculum for students to imagine, design and create devices and experiments in Science, and use differentiated math centers to offer students the opportunities to learn independently, with partners and in teams through technology, remedial programs, independent work, small groups and hands-on activities.
