My school is a diverse community of learners who come to school excited to learn and challenge themselves. Our diversity ranges in native languages and socioeconomic situations. While we have an eSTEAM initiative at our school, I am their science teacher who teaches the state science benchmarks and is always looking for ways to strengthen our science learning with engaging lessons and materials. This year, we have new science curriculum that includes a digital science notebook. Some of the materials I need are basic due to no funding for them. I wish for things that bring more of a wow factor to the basic materials I already have. My students deserve the materials that will enhance their learning of science. And I hope we all value the importance of a strong science program in our schools.
