Students love writing on whiteboards. The whiteboards are blank on one side and have a graph with the X and Y axes drawn on the other side. My students do all of their work on the computers and it is a constant struggle trying to get them to write equations and show their work. Students will love solving equations and graphing linear equations on the whiteboards. My class does not have a large whiteboard for the class to use because a Smart Board was installed in front of it and cannot be moved. Students like using whiteboards so they can show off their work, or compete with each other solving problems. I know students love using them because I used to have some but they were so old and scratched that I had to get rid of them.
