Chromebooks with high quality vetted apps will help my inner city students dive into the digital world. I will offer guidance and support as they begin to explore all that is available to them with the Chromebooks. Students will be able to enhance their keyboarding techniques while researching topics of interest that are relevant to what they are learning in class. Installing math and science apps onto the Chromebooks will help students become more fluent mathematicians. Students can discover what is out on the web in a safe environment where their usage will be monitored. Students under the poverty level have less access to high quality computers than their suburban counterparts. This will help balance the scale and offer a more balanced playing field to my students.
