As a Family and Consumer Science teacher, I want to give my students as many opportunities as possible. I want them to be able to have new and exciting experiences that allow them to see alternative pathways to success. Students who choose to compete can use the Silhouette Cameo 3 vinyl cutter to create their presentation boards and enhance their projects. Classroom students can collaborate with the art class to create works of art for our boring hallways, or word walls to challenge their vocabulary. Students can create thank you cards helping them to understand the importance of gratitude, and also a means of networking and relationship building. In collaboration with the business department they create and discover ways in which their ideas can be turned into fundraising activities. Through fundraising they can learn how to set goals, budget and learn how to assess their audience. Students will be able to come up with unlimited possibilities to take their creativity to another level.
