All children should have the excitement and wonder of books be paramount. It is our role in early childhood to spark life long learning as we develop our students' passion to read. The best way to grow readers of tomorrow is reading stories and high quality books to the youngest learners of today. The best stories are the one that are read over and over as they become alive, connectable, and memorable to these young students. With storytelling props and puppets I will invite my students to the world of books as they embark on amazing story journeys. Preschool students will be excited about books as they begin to experience the life-long joy and wonder of reading as they are learning with props which enhance book readings and make literacy and language both powerful and enjoyable.
