Help give my students snacks to make it through their day! I work at a turnaround school that serves predominantly low-income students. We have an extended day that runs from 7:151m-4:15 pm. That's a very long day for my 7 year old second graders! Students receive breakfast right when they come in and then a 20 minute lunch in the afternoon. These students need a snack to help them make it through such a long day with their mind focused. The snacks, like the goldifsh and breakfast bars, will be handed out to students who cannot afford to bring in their own snack from home. That way, all students are able to have snack during snack time.
