As I prepare for my students to come into the classroom, I want them to have all the materials they may need. I want them to have the materials to practice their fine motor skills and I added adult materials as well to be able to model for them. I want the classroom to be ready with their materials labeled with Velcro to ensure the students will know where materials are and so they can have their own materials to call their own. Each of theses materials will help the children prepare for kindergarten. A goal in my classroom is to get my students as independent as they can be to prepare them for the real world as well as in their academic careers. These items will ensure that the students can develop their fine motor skills, and creative art skills. I added the office materials as well in this grant to be able to provide the students with the materials they need in order to develop these skills. I want to be able to help my students with whatever they may need in and out of the classroom.
