My special education students need the opportunity to gain functional life skills to prepare them for independent living. My room is a functional Life Skills classroom, including a full kitchen and laundry area. My students are in grades 9-12 and range from the ages of 14-20 years of age. Our school district has drastically reduced our budgets due to deficits of funding. Our district is located in a rural area.
