Our current school inventory of instruments and bows is dwindling and in dire need of replacement/repair to allow advanced high school students to prepare for college. In particular, new bows will help students reach their potential and develop the skills necessary to achieve success in college. Many students cannot afford their own instruments and rely on the school's outdated and aging instruments. As students reach collegiate repertoire, it becomes more and more difficult to play on inferior instruments. Students often become discouraged and unmotivated when they are unable to achieve their musical goals and desires. Providing the opportunity is succeed is vital to their future.
