I am privileged every day to work as a 5th grade teacher at Bryant Elementary School in Helena, MT. My students struggle, that is true, but my students have tremendous potential that I have the opportunity to help them to see and unlock. Many come from lives of poverty or disadvantage. For many, school is a respite in a life of unpredictability and struggle. As a teacher, I can be part of that safe haven for them. I can restore hope, impart knowledge, and instill confidence. I get the privilege to make a tangible difference every day!

About my class
