My students are 9th-12th graders who are Deaf and Hard of Hearing. They are in a public school setting and throughout most of the day in a mainstream classroom with hearing peers. They use American Sign Language as their primary mode of communication. I teach them English. They struggle with Reading Comprehension, writing on topic, English Grammar, and creative writing.
