Laptops are necessary for my Robotics Team. My students want to program the EV3 LEGO robots but they need a laptop in order to use the LEGO software to its full potential. Their goal is to create specific missions and compete in the First LEGO Leauge competition, as well as competitions within our school district. My students work so hard and deserve to be able to properly program the EV3 robot. They just need laptops to do it. A laptop is mandatory for the students to fully use the LEGO software. Without it, my kids are at a disadvantage in programming the missions for the EV3 robots. The EV3 robot has sensors that cannot be used if it isn't programmed using a laptop. The mindstorm software has many components and a laptop is the only device that will allow the program to fully run.
