I work in a diverse community were many languages are spoken and students are eager to learn and participate. Our school serves about 600 students and it is 70% free and reduced priced lunch. Our families work closely with us to ensure that their children are successful. Our district is limited in the amount of resources they can provide to each classroom, yet it is critical for students to have access to functional computers, culturally responsive books and an environment that promotes the love of learning. I want to support them not only for their academic success, but also for their success as future leaders of the world.

About my class
