My students are awesome, musically talented, hard working, Hispanic students who come from families where college was only a dream until now. We are a low income music magnet school that stretches every resource to the best of our ability to give students the best chance at a bright future. We don't have a lot of "stuff," but we foster a family environment where students have a place to belong and grow to become the people they want to be. Our students continuously strive for excellence and earn top ratings at events across the state on instruments held together with paper clips and duck tape. They truly are an inspiration to me in their determination to make the impossible happen.
