My high school is a melting pot of diversified backgrounds in the city. Students range from average, honors, exceptional children as well ESL learners.There is an extremely high population of homeless and poverty stricken communities. I have had a Slovakian student as well as a Spanish speaking only student in a given class. Diversifying lessons for several circumstances in one class block is challenging, yet rewarding.
