The steering wheel and truck driving simulator game offered by Xbox One console will make learning the concepts of driving easier to understand and more memorable. Driving safely has an impact on not only the driver but also all those that the driver shares the road with. Using a truck driving simulator game with a steering wheel controller allows my students to have their first experience of being a driver without risking the use of a real vehicle. In a driving simulator game, students can practice skills such as multitasking, attention to detail, gross motor skill with a steering wheel and foot pedals, and traffic rules in a safe learning environment. Students will become more aware of traffic safety through a driver’s point of view and visual limitation. This is also a great learning tool for students who want to get a driving license as part of their employment and independent living skills.
