The flexible seating I am requesting already has a space in my classroom. The students love taking their books to read in different locations around the room. We do not have carpet in our classroom so it isn't very comfortable for them. I want my students to be comfortable and be able to increase their reading stamina. Think about reading a book your self. Do you sit at a desk or lay on a cold floor? No, you pick a nice comfortable spot. I bet how long you read depends on how comfortable you are, right? My students will love the beanbag chairs and seats to kick back and be able to get lost in their books. Students can also easily move these seats to read with a partner or to work in a small group.
