The scholars at my academic institution have a place called The Peace Room where they are able to come to learn restorative practices for personal and academic growth. Unfortunately, The Peace Room has not been decorated to create a welcoming energy for the scholars. The walls are blank. Although the students are hearing encouraging and motivational words, they need to read and see it as well. When a scholar has peace of mind, body, and spirit, they are able to give 100% of their focus to their academia. Please help me in creating a safe, motivating, and encouraging space for our scholars.
