Our students visit our listening station daily during our Literacy Block in the morning. Our listening station is currently filled with worn books and audio cd's, many of which are scratched and skip from their years of use. By donating to our project, you will help my students become better readers. My students are enthusiastic to read, and love listening and reading along to their favorite stories. These tablets will allow us to independently read along to a library filled with thousands of books daily! This will help to further deepen their love of reading and their knowledge of the world. Dr. Seuss said it best: “The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you'll go.”
