Our students are growing up in a technology-saturated generation. Students rush home to play games on their phones or tablets, but they don't see the value as a learning tool. Our students need exposure to various technology pieces during class that they can utilize academically. Students can use iPads to take tours of historical places or watch videos on experiments to gain a deeper understanding. Apple Ipads will bring research to life. Our students may not have the opportunities to visit museums and famous historical locations. Reading a text book or trade-book isn't enough to make students understand concepts being taught. iPads will also positively impacts our students with disabilities by creating visuals that are necessary for comprehension. Students will be able to research and plan writing pieces. iPads will strengthen understanding and thinking skills. Giving our students this opportunity will help secure a bright future!
